Chattogram to Host First Bangladesh-Ireland T20Is in Three Years as 2025 Schedule Announced

Ireland’s men’s cricket team is scheduled for a full tour of Bangladesh in November and December 2025, as confirmed by the Bangladesh Cricket Board. The visit will include a two-match Test series followed by a three-match T20 International series.

The Irish squad is expected to land in Bangladesh on November 6th. The red-ball segment of the tour will commence with the first Test at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium starting November 11th. The teams will then move to the capital for the second Test, which is set to begin on November 19th at Dhaka’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

This tour holds historical significance as it will be the first multi-match Test series contested between the two nations. Their only previous encounter in the longest format was a solitary match in April 2023, which Bangladesh won by seven wickets.

After the conclusion of the Test matches, the focus will shift to the white-ball format. The squads will travel to Chattogram for a three-game T20I series, marking their first bilateral T20I meeting in three years. The T20 internationals are slated for November 27th, 29th, and December 2nd, all to be held at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium.
